The system requirements mentioned on this page provide a baseline for a suitable computer to begin using Tobii Pro software.
Tobii Pro Lab and Tobii Pro Studio have been designed for research purposes. Therefore, you need to exercise tight control over your operating system and hardware to ensure good performance during stimulus presentation and recording. You can additionally secure the performance by making sure the computer is dedicated to eye tracking and running our software, and it is free from all third party applications.
Tobii Pro Lab and Tobii Pro Studio routinely perform very demanding calculations, so execution of some operations may take a lot of time, for example, calculating metrics for large projects, encoding exported videos, and running Assisted Mapping. Performance is also affected by variables such as how big your project is, how many stimuli you are using, the type of stimuli used, and the number of recordings already saved in the project.

Tobii Pro Glasses 2 Controller can be used on tablets running an x86-compatible processor and a compatible Windows operating system. Tobii Pro recommends models from the Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Book range.
Important note: On Windows 10, there is currently a problem where Tobii Pro Glasses 2 has intermittent connection issues with the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7xxx/8xxx/9xxx wireless adapters. This issue is being looked into with urgency. A quick workaround is to use a separate USB wireless adapter to connect the Glasses 2 wirelessly, or use a wired connection instead.
