In this presentation we will walk you through all the steps you need to take to conduct a screen-based eye tracking study in Tobii Pro Lab — from test design and recording, to analysis and data export. We'll also go over the newly released text stimulus feature, the reading-specific metrics, and analysis examples.
Screen-based eye tracking systems are particularly suitable for infants and can be used in many non-screen applications. In this webinar, Daniela Corbetta, Ph.D. uses remote eye tracking in conjunction with infant goal-directed behaviors in reaching and object manipulation tasks.
Dr. Pascal Klein and Larissa Hahn, provide a taxonomy to classify how and for which aim eye tracking has been used in Physics Education Research (PER) so far. They demonstrate their research agenda on complex representations and show how their own research interest has evolved based on their own eye tracking studies and findings.
Dr. Jessica VandenPlas introduces the unique research challenges faced by chemistry education researchers, highlighting the role that eye tracking can play in addressing these difficulties. Examples is given from her own research program, including student use of multiple representations in organic chemistry and the use of animations and simulations in general chemistry.
