Tobii Pro Glasses 2 featured in upcoming episode of ABC's Hit Romance Reality Series The Bachelor.
Tobii Pro today announced that it will be featured on an upcoming episode of The Bachelor, currently celebrating its milestone 20th season. The episode will feature a special group date where several ladies will test their love and compatibility using Tobii Pro Glasses 2 with the newest Bachelor, Ben Higgins. The episode is scheduled to air Monday, January 11th, 2016, at 8/7c on ABC.
Ben Higgins, the handsome software salesman who was sent home by Kaitlyn Bristowe last season on The Bachelorette, confessed to Kaitlyn that he thought he was "unlovable." Even so, he saw a great life with her, only to have his hopes dashed and his heart broken when he was left without a rose. Now, Ben is ready to open himself up again to love, but he still has lingering fears. He will attempt to put his heartbreak behind him and overcome those fears when he stars as the Bachelor and searches for his one true love. Follow Ben's search for his soul mate in the milestone 20th season of ABC's hit romance reality series The Bachelor, Mondays (8:00–10:01 p.m., ET/PT) on ABC.
Eye tracking is a powerful, rapidly growing research method for understanding human behavior by revealing what a person is looking at. Wearable eye-tracking glasses that register peoples' eye movements have revolutionized and helped broaden insights with this methodology into a wider range of research fields. This research tool is used for everything from in-store shopper and communication studies, to ethnographic and social interaction studies.
Tobii Pro Glasses 2 shows exactly what a person is looking at in real time, while they move around freely in any environment. In the upcoming episode of The Bachelor, Pro Glasses 2 will be used in a social experiment. Several ladies, as well as the Bachelor, will wear the eye-tracking glasses — can assumptions be made about their love and compatibility based on their unique viewing patterns?
Pro Glasses 2 can easily be used to capture visual attention and spontaneous reactions in many different environments, such as in a traditional lab, public places, at work or even at home. This has made them an increasingly popular tool to gather insights into behavior and culture in everyday life.
