Roundtable: Eye Tracking from Afar - Studying Consumers at Home

Eye tracking is an important component of marketing research and UX for many companies. This method allows an unparalleled level of insight into the consumer experience, and yet there has always existed a challenging barrier to adoption: proximity. Eye tracking has traditionally been thought of as an in-person tool, which has limited the ways in which it has been used.

Today's eye trackers have overcome this barrier and created new tools for capturing attention and behavior, without requiring a technician to be present. In this roundtable, I'll be discussing two innovative approaches that enable unmoderated eye tracking research at home - webcam testing and wearable panel projects.
