Watch this video to learn how to improve the connectivity of your Tobii Pro Glasses 2 and avoid buffering in the Controller.

Change WiFi channel:

  1. Connect the Glasses 2 to the computer via Ethernet cable.
  2. Click on the Settings button (cog wheel in the lower left corner of Controller).
  3. Click on “Configure”.
  4. Click “Turn on access point”.
  5. In the drop-down menu to the right, you can see which wifi channel the Glasses 2 are currently using.
  6. To check the amount of traffic on the channel the Glasses 2 are using, use NetSpot (https://www.netspotapp.com/) or a similar app.
  7. To improve performance and decrease buffering, choose a channel with low traffic from the drop-down menu.
  8. Click OK.

Change network:

  1. Connect the Glasses 2 to the computer via Ethernet cable.
  2. Click on the Settings button (cog wheel in the lower left corner of Controller).
  3. Click on “Configure”.
  4. Click on “Connect to other network”.
  5. Select the network you will use to connect the Glasses 2, enter the respective password, and press “Connect”.
