How do you fully uninstall and reinstall Tobii Pro Studio?

If Tobii Pro Studio shows an error message before accessing the Project Library, fully uninstalling and reinstalling it can solve the problem.
Note! If you want to install Tobii Pro Studio on another computer, do not forget to deactivate your license key first (How can I activate and deactivate my license key in Tobii Pro Studio?).

To uninstall Pro Studio, follow these steps:
  1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
  2. In the "Programs" section, select "Uninstall a program."
  3. Select Tobii Pro Studio and click on "Uninstall."
  4. Follow the instructions.
Once Pro Studio is uninstalled, you will also need to uninstall the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages.

To do that, follow these steps:
  1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
  2. In the "Programs" section, select "Uninstall a program."
  3. Select the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages from 2005, 2008, and 2010. Click on "Uninstall." All of the packages to remove start with:
    1. Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
    2. Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable
    3. Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable
    4. Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable

Pro Studio and all of the components used by it have now been uninstalled. You are now able to reinstall the software. Fill in your license key, download the installer for your version of Pro Studio, run the installer on your computer, and follow the instructions.
