Eye Tracking hilft dabei, die Leistung von Sportlern besser zu verstehen. Dafür identifiziert man  beispielsweise die Zusammenhänge zwischen Aufmerksamkeitsfokus, Flugbahnschätzung, visuellen Suchstrategien, Hand-Augen-Koordination oder einzelnen Handlungen während eines Spiels.
