Real-World Mapping now available

Tobii Pro Glasses Analyzer

A new release of Tobii Pro Glasses Analyzer is available–it includes Real-World Mapping that dramatically reduces the time needed to analyze data recorded with Tobii Pro Glasses 2.

Increase workflow efficiency

Built on sophisticated computer vision technology, the Real-World Mapping feature intelligently aggregates and maps data from Pro Glasses 2 eye tracking videos onto snapshots, saving you hours of coding time. Once you have applied this feature, you can immediately start visualizing the quantified data or begin extracting statistics.

Optionally, Real-World Mapping can be combined with manual coding, overriding automatically-mapped points.

Unique characteristics include:

  • Gyroscope and accelerometer ensure accurate results during head movements, such as when a participant is close to an object and moves their head up and down
  • Confidence graph indicates the algorithm's ability to map gaze points accurately, which allows the researcher to efficiently review, accept, update, or remove gaze points

Real-World Mapping is included in the Pro Glasses Analyzer as a standard feature. It allows you to save up to one hour of recordings for sequential batch processing.
