How is the latency of my eye tracker defined?
The latency of an eye tracker corresponds to the interval measured from the time when an image is captured by the sensor to when valid gaze data is outputted by the TET Server to the network or an eye tracking application.
This delay is the sum of the time taken from camera exposure, transfer, calcultation and delays in the system.
The Tobii Pro TX series shows a typical latency between 27-33ms.
